Crafting a Special Needs Birthday card (five minute card)

Happy creating! I love when a stamp works really well as a gatefold card. The card came together really quickly, and I had a lot of fun making this card for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps!

I haven't seen a lot of special need stamps on the market. I have a special needs son (he has Apraxia) we spend about 6 hours a week in speech and occupational therapy and he is doing amazing. So stamps like these hold a very special place in my heart!

It was a simple design, (no extra fuss) I used orange Brusho's for the background, used an A2 size card base gate folded that, used patterned paper (from my stash, I have no idea the brand name opps!) to the gatefold front then on the left side I mounted (glued) the wheelchair, and to the Right side, I mounted the sentiment. And TA-Da Finished. You could make a bunch of these at the same time especially if you needed a bunch made for craft fairs or to give as gifts.

The stamps set used: Birthday Fun and Birthday Wishes.

I am entering this into the CAS Watercolor Card Challenge blog.

  1. Great card, I like the brusho background! The last time I tried to make a card so fast, I poked myself with scissors a bunch of times. So extra bravo to you for a fast card!
