Watercolor Christmas at Hobby Lobby

I had so much fun making these cards for a class at one of our local Hobby Lobby stores in the Des Moines area (south side Hobby Lobby) I love watercolor for the emotion and feeling that it gives, and I love how wonderful watercolor works with stamps!  I have specifically handpicked each element of each card to match what I think Christmas should feel like! So Please join me in my watercolor class at Hobby Lobby. I created these cards so that anyone could create them, even my dear 8 yr old daughter!

Space is limited, please email or call  Lisa Christensen directly to reserve a spot in her class at lisachristensen82@gmail.com or call her at 515-208-8122

Please bring the following supplies to class: 1 medium flat brush, two medium round tip brushes (size 6-12) a small round brush (2-6) and your watercolor palette that you like, adhesive (tape runner and liquid glue) and if needed tweezers for sequence. And some extra watercolor or mixed media paper to practice on.

Included in the class is the four panels ready to watercolor on.

Each panel helps you develop your watercolor skills, each panel has a different technique. The happy holiday card you get to play with two colors that are close to the color wheel to see how they play well together (it's one of my favorite warm-ups.)  The snowflake card is made with resist and wet paint into wet paper. The Peace card is made with wet into dry to get a beautiful dreamy look and my favorite way to paint a backdrop is to paint circles and let them bleed into each other using different hues of greens on the Merry and Bright card.

I can't wait to teach this class!
Lisa recommends the Gansia Tambi watercolor set from Kuretake. And Master Touch watercolor brushes.
